Wrote about the personal, social and academic adjustments made by athletes in their first year of college in “Year One.“ Chronicled how the rise of Little League baseball in Vineland coincided with the influx of Hispanic immigrants in the early 1980s. Analyzed why local high school coaching staffs fail to represent the diversity of staff and student bodies in “Diversity Shortfall.” Over a span of four years, provided in-depth looks into the life of Mike Trout, a local boy who grew into a top baseball prospect and was drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Angels last summer.
